Last year the caravan was serviced by the dealership who charged me £250 for the pleasure.  We reported a water leak by the boiler area and an issue with the "glass" in the cocktail cabinet door.

Yesterday the service was done by a mobile technician who found the water leak, but also a gas leak when he did a pressure test.  The gas leak was minior, but could have had serious consequences.  It was a tiny split in the pipe which UMHO shoudl nto happen
on a 2 year odl caravan!

Although the caravan was under warranty and the repairs would have been done free under warranty, I opted to pay for the additional work.

I have in the past queried work done by the dealership when they gave me an invoice, but no check list.  I requested the check list and found that for the check on shock absorbers, they had ticked it n/a.  I queried this as the shock absorbers had been fitted
by them on a few months previously.  It was then admitted that some one in the office had completed the check sheet.

On the way back to the storage area the glass in the cocktail cabinet fell out and a check showed that it has been secured with two blobs of glue, one at the top and another at the bottom.

In future, servicing to be done by mobile technician and warranty work by dealership with the hope that they will complete the repair properly.!
