Irish ferries ploy?
When we went to the NEC show recently we were approached by a very nice gentleman from Camping Ireland. He told us about Irish campsites etc and gave us a brochure showing that we could get the ferry from Pembroke to Rosslare for £99 each way for car and
caravan if we applied a code.
We tried to book via the website, but it would not recognise the code so we emailed them. They have not responded to the email which is a specific email address for bookings.
We were going to phone, but at £0.10p a minute decided against it as would be very annoyed spending 20 minutes on the phone only to find out we do not qualify for the discount for some obscure reason.
This is not about rip off prices but about making it difficult to use the discount code.
Any one else come across this?
