Dogs on Brittany ferries

On another forum it is being stated that if using Brittany ferries the dogs must be muzzled even if they are in kennels.
This is of great concern to us as we have small Yorkshire Terriers and the chances of getting muzzles to fit them is almost zero. In addiotn, fitting muzzles to dogs that have never been muzzled woudl stress them out ernormously.
This was not mentioned to us when we booked our trip and also booked onbaord kennels. Can any one please clarify? Thanks.
