French site recommendations

Hi All

We are new to caravaning and want to go to France for the first time next summer.  Looking for a site that is not too far to travel to for our first adventure and is good for children (wate slides, beach etc...)  I have 2 children 10 & 13.  Probably going
to sail into St Malo or if its a really good  site then maybe sail into Satander / Bilbao.
