Elddis serial number?

Having just watched a handbook for the 1992 range of Wisp XL vans sell for over £24 I contacted Elddis to see if they have one, having been considerably out bid. Yes, no problems says they, please advise the serial number. Right then, easy, no, the plate
on the van near the door has only the makers name and address plus the max total weight. The CRIS number is on all the windows etc but don't think they want that, or do they as I have thought vans would be like a car in so much as it would be given its own
number. The question is where is the serial number? Has any one got any idea where they hide this on the older units. Cheers :)
