Getting round/through Rouen

We can easily go south on the motorway via tunnel at Rouen but on our return we always miss the right road to access the tunnel going north And end up in busy streets. any advice?  Usually coming from chatres on the N154 and are wary of getting stuck in
an underpass with the caravan!
