Where can you put your campervan on a CC pitch?

We have just exchanged our caravan for a VW T5 campervan. Just wondering whether we can park the van at the edge of the pitch, where the car usually goes, or  does it have to go in the middle where you normally park a caravan? We are just off to the caravan
show at the NEC to look for a drive away awning.
