Changing Gas cylinders (size)

We carry two 3.9kg gas cylinders in our Bailey Ranger GT60 460/2 van. It seems it would be much cheaper in the long run to use 6kg cylinders. I think they will fit in height wise. But what about weight wise - would we be able to carry them? Any advice gratefully
received.
