France in April

My wife and I are of to France in April for 3 weeks we are thinking of heading to the Calanques area between Marsailles and Toulon we have not visited this area before we thought we might stay at Sanary sur mer for a while. As we live in Guernsey in the
channel isles our port of arrival is St Malo Any recommendations anyone.
