Finding the site!

We travel to various new cc sites, each time with the use of the old sat nav. We lead very busy lives and would rather not have to read the site instructions when we can just type in a post code. However as we have discovered on several occasions the post code
does not always get you too your destination! This happened to us on Saturday on our trip to York Rowntree Park site where the post code took us the the rear gate of the site which we later found out was used as an emergency exit for flooding, luckily for
us there was another member using the pedestrian gate and I was able to go to reception and the warden opened the gate for us. When I got back to reception to settle up the bill the lady on the desk had a slight moan about not reading the directions before
we commenced our journey.

It would be very helpful to people like us for it to be clear on the site address both in the hand book and online that the post code won't get you there.  This could be just something simple like an * next to the post code. Something like this would make our
lives easier.  I don't know if anybody else have encountered similar problems?
