Suggestions for curing difficult hook up access
Our problem, basically, is that we had to change our car recently, and now have a Hyundai i-30. Works perfectly as a tow car having proved itself on our ten day trip to France. What is unsatisfactory is the electrical hook up access. The car has a detachable
tow-hook and to reach the socket I have to practically lay on the floor and reach about a foot under the car to connect. Highly impractical and we'd appreciate any comments from other sufferers of this problem.
Our thoughts so far are.
a) have a point re positioned on the back of the car, but this could affect the bodywork integrity.
b) have a short extension permanently plugged in that we could tie up to the car chassis when not needed, but this could be affected by wet or road surface
c) change the car again, though we are loath to do this.
Any thoughts?
