what about the shift workers ?

There seems to be a lot of threads regarding the workers and what they feel is their week-end 'rights' because they work hard all week. My husband and thousands like him was a shift worker. I have followed the thread on leaving later on a Sunday,
and I have just read the one about not cutting the grass on a Saturday. The argument for all this is mostly that the rest of us are OAP's and have time to accommodate the week-enders. So who gives a thought for the shift worker ?
