New to France

we are taking our new caravan to France for the first time in June, ferry from Portsmouth to Caen. Is it easy to get out of the port and on to the motorway? We are staying at camping l'Allee in arradon. They have a latest arrival time of 19.00, looking at
the route planner we should make it in time. Any comments and help appreciated.
