I have a 1994 Bailey Pagaent CD Auvergne in which is fitted a Carver 3000 gas heater with 12 volt blown air. Curiously, it is the only gas appliance fitted to the 'van which does not have an isolator tap on the gas supply but, that aside. It has manual spark
ignition by repeatedly depressing the control knob. It is virtually impossible to see the burner view window without first removing the heater front cover. The spark ignition rod and the "device" at the bottom of the rod are very loosely assembled but this
appears to be simply poor design. I have great difficulty lighting the pilot light initially but once it is lit and I turn the burner on the burner flame is a mixture of blue and yellow. I'm not happy about this.

Is it possible to service this appliance and where would I find the relevant instructions for the information of my gas engineer relative?
