I imagine every member like me has received this particular circular in the mail informing us that there is still availability on prime sites. What a shocking waste of money on the club's part. I realise that empty pitches means no income for the club but
why waste more money telling us? Is this because of the the premium prices at this time of year? I would have thought that this could have been advertised online for considerably less, and as an incentive at a discounted rate, after all once all the pitches
are full it would not cost the club any more and a discounted income is surely better than no income at all. Of course there are other factors, the Olympic games and horrible weather to name just a couple. Surely the time time has come to review pitch fees
in order to attract members to get out and book once again.
