First time in the frost!

We are going away tomorrow , for our first winter trip so I was wondering any tips or experiences to share ? . We are only going a short distance ( Hillcroft CL) so can come home within an hour if needed. I have plenty of warm clothes , the heating system
worked last time we used it , the battery has been recharged and the site has electric , loos and a shower . I'm really looking forward to the break but bet there are other things I could take "just in case" - any suggestions ?
