Nose up?

Hi all,

I've noticed in our storage yard that some vans sit with the nose up ie higher at the front than the back, I guess this is to ensure effective draining of water from the roof. I've tried it and the usual black streaks are now concentrated on the rear of
the van so it appears to work.... What's your thoughts on this?
