Hello

Thank you for all the replies re: vets. We are travelling from Portsmouth and realised we cannot park at the ferry terminal due to height restriction of 2.2. Have contacted Brittany ferries not possible to leave unattended in the lanes.Do any members know
a safe place to park up so we could exercise the dog before we board for the night crossing. Otherwise guess motorway services and then straight to check-in.

I live just outside Portsmouth, if you give me clue on your direction of travel/time of day and I'll give it some thought

As longs as it isn't high season and you aren't going to be hours you could park along the seafront at South Sea.  you would have to park across the bays

Are you a MH or a caravan as that could have some bearing. There's Tesco at Northarbour just off the top of the M275. There's a bit of waste ground between the A27 and Tesco's car park adjacent to Pizza Hut where you could walk the dog.

ElleMae, When you say exercise the dog do you mean a brisk two mile walk?

A lot of people simply arrive early at the ferry port, park at the check in, and just walk up and down the line of vehicles for their dog to pee on the tarmac. Or do you want more than that?
