France Half way back up toCalais

Hi can anyone recommend a good caravan site thats an overnighter half way to Calais from Montpellier area in late June.  We are going down the east of france via 2 overnighters and on to annecy but would like to come back a different way.  We have camping
cheques ordered but can't decide on the site..got Grandspette bkd for the last night in France and hoping to motor up to that site.help anyone....thinking Nevers area?
