Discovery towbar recall
Apologies if this has already been discussed (search doesn't throw up anything, but who knows). Just to highlight that Land Rover have got a recall notice on Discovery MY2005-15 and RRS MY2005-13 on the detachable towbar.
I didnt actually receive mine, but found out about it online & have had it checked by my dealer today. Check is for excessive play in the system caused by either too much noseweight or leaving the towbar on all of the time (guilty...), remedy is to replace
with a fixed towbar. In the event, mine is fine. 
I notice the insert for the owner's manual they give states that the breakaway cable should not be fitted onto the tow ball but must be fitted to a separate part of the chassis. When I had my Lunar I used the attachment point alongside the electrics, but
now I have a Bailey the cable isn't long enough to safely do that. Can anyone advise where a longer breakaway cable can be purchased?
