Latvian roads.

Road classification as per road map: Paved (tarmac, main roads), gravel, improved unsurfaced and unsurfaced. So in winter, mud, ice and snow, in summer lots of dust. Our visit 4 weeks ago looking for churches, a farm and a grave; we did find them.

Then the snow started.

Do not think I would like to tow on them, but the main roads are OK apart from the odd pothole here and there, just like the UK.
