Air conditioning

Hi.

I was just about to have an air conditioning unit fitted to my motorhome but have found out that the chosen Truma unit needs 15amp as a start up. (it runs on 2.5amp). most countries in Europe only have between 6 and 10amp supplies I understand. What have
you guys used in your motorhomes/caravans whilst abroad. (I must add that I chose the Truma model as it is compact in size and fitted inside!)
