We have a recent Lunar caravan which is fitted with the Trimark snake-cut keys.

The van came with two,one of the flip-out type and the other a standard type.

I want to get a third key so that I can leave it with the service chap.

Has anyone found where to get these keys, at a sensible price? There are some on Ebay, but not going up to the current number series.

Probably Lunar are the only reliable source of new keys. What do they cost, still stinging for the £280 one for the car cost.

I recently bought a replacement Laser cut flip out key for my Bailey and it was £20.00. not cheap but could have been worse. The trouble is there are few people outside of the manufacturers who can laser cut keys.

    Thanks TC

Do you remember where you got it from?

Have you  tried Stimpsons. They can copy encoded car keys at around half the price of a main dealer. Free to ask. They have kiosks at most branches of Sainsburys.

Well, after much searching and phone calls I ended-up phoning Tri-mark themselves. For security reasons they only supply the caravan manufacturers/dealers direct.

So a phone call to Lunar, who immediately pass you on to the dealer. Call to dealer made, and once my van details had been pulled-up I gave them the key number and paid £15 job done.

Pricewise not bad I suppose, but a 6-8 week delivery as they have to come from America - I think is taking the p***
