What's the Problem ??

After nearly 25 years of membership of the CC I renewed my membership on-line including continuation of the Centre which I have been in for all of that time. On the 14 August I have a copy of the email confirming my membership renewal.
Today I have had my nomination to the Centre's committee turned down because the Centre have no knowledge that I am a member. What's going on ??
