Travelling to Northern Italy

My wife and I are planning a trip to the Dolomites in June and intend to travel via the Frejus Tunnel as there are places around Saint Michelle du Maurienne we would like to visit on the way. Are there any restrictions on caravans, and particularly the
carriage of Propane/Butane gas bottles, through Frejus and other alpine tunnels?
