European insurance cover

We plan to spend up to 10 months in Europe this coming year. Taking our caravan then putting it in storage and renting. The problem is our caravan insurance company will only cover us for 240 days . When I inquired about further they said we would not be
covered. Has any one come up with this problem and how did they solve it.
