Consistency (closed)

I have no issues when threads get closed, I have no issues when threads are moved, but why can't we have a consistent method of showing which threads are closed (ie, it says closed by the thread when browsing the sections) it says moved, when threads have
been moved, with an active link. Some say closed, which is fine, others don't, you click to open, read OP, only to find when you go to last post, that the discussion has been closed! Is this something to do with the website, or down to the people closing/moving
threads and the technology available to them?
