Champions of a different Kind!

After using this forum for a good few months now, and reading some of the helpful and very interesting postings about many of the lovely places to visit up and down the UK, it struck me just how helpful some of the advice has been.

So, would it be an idea to have " Travel Champs"? In other words, voluntary members who might be interested in sharing their extensive knowledge about areas close to where they live, to help potential visitors, with routes, places to visit, eat out etc...
Lots of posters seem happy to help others, just thought it might be a useful addition to our forum? Or would it take some of the mystery out of doing it yourself?

Just a thought.
