How Do you Choose?
There are so many lovely sites on the Caravan Club network, not to mention the wonderful CL's scattered all over the country. We get away for at least 4 longish holidays in our vans each year, spending at least one in Cornwall, because that's where we keep
one of our vans. However, we do like to visit other places up and down and east and west in GB. We have favourite sites, but also make it a rule to use at least one new CL every year. Another aspect of choice is making sure that we make the most of our English
Heritage (including Historic Scotland + Cadw), National Trust and RSPB memberships. We are very keen on history, so battlefields, churches, industrial heritage, historic houses etc.... close to where we are staying often tip the balance as to our holiday choice.
How good an area is in terms of dog walking is also a contributory factor, so proximity to beaches, woodland etc.... also helps us decide. Do others have any other ways of making a choice of where to go on holiday?
