Hello all.  My wife and I having been previous caravaners between 1982 to 1989, when our children were youngsters - and have now returned to the club as members and the touring fraternity.  Having purchased a van in June 2013, we have taken several trips
to include a long weekend in Sussex, 5 days on the Isle of Wight and 12 rainy days in Cornwall last  August.  We are now used to handling our Bailey Unicorn van.  We have booked the Portsmouth to Santander ferry for a late August depature, driving down to
a site close to Lagos. We have driven and toured down to the Algarve in 1982 - a long time ago, but drove down through the Douro Valley and central Portugal. Our intention (not having small children to worry about) is to reach our destination quickly.  Can
any member with current route experience provide any advice concerning best route, stopping over one evening en-route (early evening ferry arrival in Santender) and road/motorway toll charges in Spain & Portugal?  Any reliable assitance would be appreciated.
