Advise required with full awning

i have just ordered a 2013 lunar caravan, and unfortunantly my present awning (1 year old)  is 1 size to small for the new caravan. i have been told there are companies who will make them upto 3 sizes larger for a fraction of the cost of a new awning. Has
anyone had this done to their awning and what were the results like. Any advise would be great
