Ferries to Spain.

I am hoping to take a ferry to Spain in July/September as an access to France but I won't know for certain that I can go until late June.

Are the ferries usually totally booked up by then? Am I being too optimistice?

Why not take a ferry to France, the ferries to Spain are 24hr and costly. Ferries from Portsmouth/Poole/Newhaven all go to France most are only 5 hrs or less, you can land in France at Dieppe, Cherbourg, Caen or St Malo (this one is a bit longer and is overnight)
from any of these ports the rest of France is easily reached. The advantage is they have much more crossings than the Spanish ferry. You may have a reason for not using these ferries but just incase you hadn't thought about them.Smile
