3 Pin Socket in external locker

We are going away over Xmas and will be putting up some outside lights etc on the van.The instructions state that the electrics/transformer must be plugged indoors.In your opinion would the external locker with the 3 pin socket be classed as indoors? Your
advice would be welcome.Best Regards
