Late arrival Caen

We have just booked ferry crossing to Caen and arrive at 9:30 at night, cheapest crossing with caravan club. It's awhile since we have used Caen usually go to Roscof where we park in the port or go to Les Mouettes a few miles away.Does anyone know Is it
easy to park up on the port for the night as you leave the ferry? Are there any decent sites very close by we could use?
