Bord Atlas

We have just bought the Bord Atlas book. Although everything is in German we can work out most things. However, the one thing we are not sure of is, can we only stay for one night at each site, or can we extend for two or three nights if we like the area.
This will be our first trip abroad in our Motorhome after 20 years caravanning.
