Second class citizen

So, I can ring and renew my husband's membership of the caravan club (ours really) and I can use the debit card that it is in MY NAME to do it.  But, when I then ask, could I have a card please so we are joint members I am told 'Only your husband can do
that'.  I did express my surprise at the fact that they were happy enough to accept my money and to renew the subscription, which isn't actually in my name, but that was not enough for them to action the joint membership.  Come on Caravan Club, I think this
really is too much.
