New Sites? Basic Simplicity or Bells and Whistles?
Just been reading a discussion on where do we want a new Caravan Club site to be built? Answers were basically anywhere and everywhere in the UK. More to the point - do we want the Club to be spending money on sites with all facilities (ie toilet/shower
blocks/laundry rooms /games rooms/wifi etc) or more simple basic sites with hook ups, waste disposal and barely anything else! Presumably much cheaper. I fall into the latter category. I don't understand it when I see people walking over to shower blocks in
the cold and understand it even less to see people carrying their washing up to sinks 100 metres from their van! Hey folks - you have hot water and a sink! Am I a dinosaur and not moving with the times. A basic site is enough for me. Discuss...
