Quest Elite Dome Awning

Could anyone help me with my delemer? In 2012 I purchased a Quest Elite Dome awning, it can be an awning, a free standing tent or a gazebo, it looks very impresive. The problem is you are supposed to be able to buy a connection to join the caravan to the
awning. I was sold one with the awning but it does not fit. I have tried going back to the supplier but have had no joy with them. What I am wondering is if anyone else has one of these and have they managed to successfully use it? Does anyon know of whereI
can buy the correct connection or have one made?
