Nuisance calls, a new UK record?

    We used to get three or four nuisance calls a day but a couple of weeks ago I bought a BT phone with built in “Call Guardian”, now we get no cold callers at all.Cool
    The only downside is that some genuine callers can get missed but then they can always leave a message if it’s urgent.Smile

    As with the OP, my next door neighbour never uses his landline phone and only uses the line for broadband.

    Another mystery is my neighbour who is on my mobile friend's list - also comes up witheld although they are not ex directory.  

    You do not have to be ex-directory to withold your number. In the same way as I am Ex-Directory and choose not the withold
