what equipment do i need to operate a 12 volt tv?

Hi there,

            we are doing quite a lot of caravanning and are loving it, im sorry to say this, but the kids would like a tv for night time, we go on quite a lot of rallies without EHU, so a 12 volt is our only option. 

Please can someone explain what i need to buy to ensure it works, i have been looking at inverters, but they look like they come with a cigarette lighter end which has just totally thrown me.

Also can anyone recommend a good 12 volt tv
