Towcar query
this query is addressed to those caravanners are wise in the way of "warranties" on cars...bought a 2015 Mondeo Zetec Econotec TDCI 8 months old and with 7000 miles..experienced a noise when braking (solo, no caravan)... Test driven by Ford garage and in
the workshop found both rear wheel discs were warped and immediately ordered two new ones as a warranty claim...I asked that since the discs were found faulty that the pads should also be part of warranty and replaced free as well as the discs...they say they
are a "consumable" so not warranty..I rejected this on the basis the pads are not worn out but are bound to be affected by the warped discs as to put original pads back into work on new discs would be stupid.....What do you all think on the matter as I don't
think it's an unreasonable request for me to make from them on an 8 month old 8000 mile car.
