Getting round Paris

Hi

Travelling to South of France next week and last year took the Rouen route but going to try a more direct route and the route Google maps shows takes me round an outer ring road to miss Paris, the A86 and I seem to remember reading on here that there may
be hieght restrictions at some points. Can anyone advise on this please. Thanks.
