Rouen or Reims route to perpignan ??

Hi all

First time travelling from UK to South of France, we are leaving on Thursday 13th to stop near dover and catch a 07.30 ferry. we have planned to take 2 days travelling, Thursday and Friday with the aim of arriving at La brasilia camp site Saturday morning
around 12.00 noon. I think this gives us plenty of time to travel down and plan on 2 stops the second ( friday night, at Millau. Question is I am unsure which way to go even though I have spent hours looking at the various routes. want to avoid Paris and am
Ok with tolls ( have the tag ). Any help on deciding the best way is very much appreciated.
