Patio gas suitable for caravan?

Good day everyone,

we are going away this weekend and wI'll need to tame gas with us. We currently have a 13kg patio gas bottle which we were thinking of using, if we change the regulator to fit the patio gas on the caravan, would it be ok to use? 

 

We we don't really want to buy a separate propane/butane gas bottle as it will be our last weekend away before the winter. 

Is there any reason why I can't use the patio gas, or is it just preference to use propane/butane.
