santander to camping ribamar alcossebre O/N stays

hi, can anyone recommend suitable overnight stay overs between santander and alcossebre valencia,its our first time to spain with the caravan and we didnt want to do more than 2hrs drive each day, so 2 or 3 stays i suppose, we had thought all sites would
be open however i am finding just the opposite,  and are the roads ok??? we are going jan 15th for 3 months, thanks and happy holidays to all, jean Q
