travel to the jura area /annecy, france

Hi = intending to tow my van from a french channel port to Annecy this summer,  I have an 80% load ratio, with a 170 bhp engine, I know this area is mountainous, does anyone know of problems in towing a van in this area please,  would hate to get stuck on
a sharp incline??
