Summer caravan tour of France, Spain and Portugal
My parents live in Portugal and we visit often via aeroplane. We have camped and caravanned in France before and after our recent purchase of a lovely new caravan, we are now toying with the idea of taking our kids (9 and 13) on a full 2015 summer tour
down through Europe ie France, Spain and on to Portugal staying a few days or week or so at various sites enroute in each country before heading home. Our restrictions are it will have to be within the six weeks (so with a few days either side to take no longer
than around 5 weeks) so I will also have to prebook the sites in advance due to popularity that time of year. Has anyone done a similar route, what are the boating options to possibly make the journey home slightly easier? ie Spain to UK? Any advice or tips
welcome.....Are we bonkers to consider it
