We are planning on taking our dog over to belgium with us in August. Has anyone used any vets around the belgian coast for worming tablets?? Preferably English speaking!

Thanks

Last year on our way back from Germany we stopped on an ACSI site at Jabbeke between Bruges and Ostend, the vet is within walking distance of the site, reasonable cost and speaks English.

We used the vets at Nieuwpoort (prounounced Newport)

Direnartsen Bogaerts en Colson (google search will find them).

All vets have a understanding of English (I believe its some criteria of becoming a vet, bit like air traffic controllers).

Significantly cheaper than French, Swiss and Danish Vets. The  Belgium lady there gave out dog the treatment, a full examination and even cut the dogs toenails all for 15 euros.

    Hi Jazzybaby

Your post made me smile! Mental image of dog relaxing whilst having a pedicure!

    €15.00 is a great price!

Three weeks ago in Switzerland it cost 60 Swiss Franks each dog. 1.36 to the £1, normally pay about €35
