Ferry bookings through the Club
I've booked a ferry through the club and need to change it. We were woken up in the middle of the night by a very sick child and I can't imagine traveling with him today. We called the number for bookings and amendments on the site, but no one is answering.
A message says the line opens at 8:45am, and it is well after that, with still no one answering. We called the Ferry company itself, but they couldn't amend our travel because we booked through the club. They said they would add a note to the account, though
and to call the Club back later or tomorrow.
Has anyone experienced this before? I don't know what's going on. Is the office closed because it's Sunday? I can't imagine it would be, as that would make it very hard to make plans or amendments on a Sunday, which I imagine is popular with return trips.
Anyway, I'm very concerned about losing our entire fare for the trip and it's likely we won't get a better price than we had, so I'm afraid it might be a double whammy. Add that on the horrible stress of last night and no sleep with minimal time on our visa
and we have a couple of very anxious parents.
Any insight is appreciated. I'll continue to call the Club.
