How close can one go?

There has long been much discussion in various threads about people randomly walking close to other persons’ ‘vans (or whatever is used). So to help set a standard I would like you to answer the question “How close is it acceptable to you for a stranger
to walk past the side of your ‘van?”

 

To avoid confusion, I am asking about this situation on Caravan Club sites only, not about Certificated Locations, commercial sites, other clubs’ sites or outwith the United Kingdom and Eire. To make comparison simple, if you would like to respond please
answer in whole numbers of feet.
